A genuine Moroccan stalagmite speleothem standing an impressive 36 inches tall, formed by mineral-rich dripwater depositing calcite over thousands of years inside a limestone cave system. Layer upon microscopic layer built this structure from the cave floor upward, creating the sculptural ridges, lobes and natural cathedral-like rises visible today.
The calcite body is almost translucent milky white, with subtle warm zoning typical of high-purity limestone cave deposits. When lit from the side or rear, the crystalline structure reveals depth and internal glow. Displays a luminous, almost waxy lustre.
Based on widely accepted average stalagmite growth rates of approximately ¼–½ inch per 100 years, a formation of this height suggests an estimated age range of roughly 7,200 to 14,400 years. This places its growth firmly within deep prehistoric time.
Previously held in the private collection of Lord Vincent Constantine for approximately three decades before entering the market. Long-term private ownership of large-scale cave formations of this calibre is increasingly uncommon.
Natural formation. No artificial carving. No reconstruction. No enhancement. The surface retains its original cave-sculpted morphology.
This is a museum-scale speleothem suitable for high-end interior display, private geological collections, or architectural statement placement.
Thought to create a grounding and calming presence, helping to clear mental fog and enhancing focus.
